Fatal Collision in Marden

Did you witness the incident?

Detectives investigating a fatal collision in Marden are appealing for witnesses to the collision.

On Sunday 8 September 2024, Kent Police received reports of a two-vehicle collision in Maidstone Road. The incident, which occurred at around 3.40pm, involved a white Fiat Panda and a green Kawasaki motorcycle.

Officers attended the scene alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service, where the motorbike rider, a man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased. His next of kin have been informed.

Appeal

Anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to officers, is urged to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, quoting reference HW/CF/096/24.

Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
