Electric Car Charge Point Opens

Several months after being installed, this one is now working

Several months ago, a new electric car charging point was installed half way down Mount Pleasant. Since then, it is sat there, covered and out of use.

The covers have been removed today and the electric point is finally open for business.

There are two parking spaces, one for electric cars, the other for electric taxis.

At the time this was spotted by our correspondent today, both spaces were filled, with non-electric cars.
