Barclays Bank to Close

The Tonbridge branch will close in October.

Barclays Bank has announced that their Tonbridge branch will close on 22 October 2021 at noon.

The bank has been a fixture in the High Street for decades, but with changes in banking habits, has decided to withdraw from the town.

Barclays has written this week to banking customers who use the branch, to give them around three months' notice.

It is not known what will become of the building.
