A man has been arrested following the death of a woman in Southborough.
Kent Police was called to a disturbance at an address in Bright Ridge , Southborough shortly before 11pm on Saturday 31 August 2024 .
Emergency services attended and a woman in her 80s and a man in his 20s were found with injuries consistent with stab wounds.
Arrest
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene and the man was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
He has been arrested on suspicion of murder while enquiries to determine the full circumstances continue.
Both of those involved are known to each other and police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Officers remain at the scene as part of the ongoing investigation.
