News members are joining and discovering bowls
The Calverley Grounds Bowls Club held an open day in June, which was a resounding success.
Membership of the club increased by 50% following the event, with both novice and experienced players becoming members.
The club has a busy season with home and away fixtures most Thursday and Sundays until September.
Wednesdays are open for visitors to come and try their hand at outdoor grass bowls. The club meets at the Grove Bowls Club, in Norfolk Road, Tunbridge Wells.
