The Sound of Music comes to Eynsford in early August

If you love the Sound of Music then don't miss out on an outside performance of this much loved classic musical. It is being put on by Riverside Players from 2nd-10th Aug in the beautiful grounds of Eynsford Castle near Sevenoaks. Get the inside on the performance from the director Kirstie McMillan and Rhiannon Williams Pike and who is playing Maria.

If you are a fan of the Sound of Music then you are in luck. Riverside Players are putting on an extravaganza that is their biggest in the last 10 years. The show will be performed in the grounds of Eynsford Castle with covered seating and beers brewed especially for the show, it will be a night to remember. 

“The Sound of Music,” a beloved musical, is based on the true story of the Von Trapp Family Singers. During the interview Chris talks to director Kirstie McMillan who gives an idea of the scale of the show and why they are so proud of this show. We also get to talk to Rhiannon Williams Pike who is playing the role of Maria. You may well have a favourite song from the musical, listen to find out if it is the same as Rhiannon's. 

The show runs from 2nd to 10th Aug and starts at 7.30pm. There are 2pm matinees on the 2nd, 3rd and 10th. A captioned performance is available on Weds 7th Aug for anyone with a hearing impairment. Tickets can be found on www.riversideplayers.co.uk.
