Tomorrow sees three local by-elections in Tonbridge & Malling Borough. Voters will be going to the polls in Kings Hill Ward, West Malling & Leybourne Ward, and Castle Ward. Polling stations will be open tomorrow until 10 pm.


Sevenoaks Samaritans have launched their Christmas Star Campaign. Designed to offer help to those in need during the Christmas period who feel loneliness, depression, and anxiety, especially if they are alone. Supporting the Christmas Star Campaign will help the Samaritans to help others, where they may be the only support agency open over the festive break.


The Tonbridge vaccination centre is busy with booster jabs ahead of the Christmas holiday season. The team is being helped by volunteers from the Tonbridge Lions, who are acting as volunteer marshals.


Matthew Scott, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent, reports that the service is working hard to tackle county line drug gangs. A new ten-year Government plan announced earlier this week will be used to help deal with drug addiction and casual usage.


Kent police have taken almost 70 cars off the road during a week-long campaign targeting uninsured drivers. Points will be added to licenses and owners will have to pay a fee to recover their vehicle. During the campaign, seven people were arrested for drink and drug driving.


Pupils from Holmwood House school have posted their letters to the North Pole. Year one will be looking for replies around about the 25th.
