The Kent Community Foundation is calling on charities across West Kent to apply for funding under their schemes. The foundation manages applications for many grant funders, offering help and advice with the process.


The Kent Fire and Rescue Service are finalists in the 2021 Excellence in Fire and Emergency Awards. with the results due later this year.


Thousands of tonnes of pumpkin fruit will go to waste over Halloween. Rather than simply throw into food recycling, Sevenoaks council have come several tasty recipes for pumpkin pie and more besides. Recipes can be found on the Sevenoaks council website.


Kent County Council is seeking your views on the conservation strategy for the county. A questionnaire covering the visions, aims and objectives is open now on the KCC website.


In sport and Rusthall Football Club are expecting children from three local primary schools to attend their match tomorrow. Free access was granted to the schools, where pupils will be able to watch Rusthall FC take on Lorsdwood.


The A21 rugby derby takes place tomorrow when Tunbridge Wells RFC takes on Sevenoaks, The first and second eleven matches are in Tunbridge Wells, with the ladies playing in Sevenoaks.
