Creating A Safe Cycling Route

West Kent Radio's Martin Webber has been finding out about plans to create a safe cycling route between Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge.

Martin spoke to Adrian Berendt, who works for the UK wide group, the Campaign for Better Transport and he’s also vice-chairman of the Tunbridge Wells Town Forum.  The Forum operates in the town instead of an elected Town Council and consists of local interest groups and the area’s Borough Councillors.

Amongst the proposals being put forward is the creation of a safe route for cyclists along the A26 between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
