SERV Kent - also known as the Bloodrunners - delivers blood, blood products, samples and other essential patient items to Kent Hospitals, Hospices, The Kent Air Ambulance and also collects & delivers donated breast milk to NICU Units & mothers who need help for their premature babies. These services are provided free of charge by our volunteers, using their own motor bikes & cars or in our small fleet of response vehicles and paying for their own fuel. 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
In June 2021 we were awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. We have also received other awards for our volunteering from the Kent Messenger, the Kent Charity Awards & the High Sheriff of Kent Consort Award.
